WHO WE DO IT WITH
MERCY SAYS:
“Mr Dunthorne is now of course an international superstar, after his awesome first novel Submarine was made into a hit-Brit-flick featuring Paddy Constantine. It's a great matter of pride then, that we're able to include him here among the friends who've done their bit to make Mercy what it is.
Joe's poetry has featured in our zines and ezines, and his performances at our live shows have lit up many an evening - a particular highlight being the filthy crechendo to his chose your own adventure poem 'You are happy' at WIYRT02, which you can read here, and of course the awesome performance with Ross Sutherland and Chris Hicks at WIYRT05, which you can see here.
His second novel will be out this summer, and we fully expect it to be the best thing since lazers.
Joe is also probably our tallest collaborator.
JOE DUNTHORNE SAYS:
“The events I've been involved with Mercy have been, easily, the best gigs I've ever done. The production values, attention to detail, tastefulness, innovative programming, excellent soup, big happy drunk audiences -- it's all absolutely spot on.
