Tonight at the Old Queen's Head; the third Literary Death Match in London. Sponsored by Picador, all comers will bear witness to eight-minute or less readings by Matthew De Abaitua (The Red Men; representing The Idler), John Grindrod (author of Shouting at the Telly; representing Faber), poet-writer-Mercyfriend-genius Ross Sutherland (this time representing Penned in the Margins) and of course Mr Nathan Jones, Mercy Creative Director and Bluecoat poet-in-residence.

The shebang is judged by Observer books editor William Skidelsky, model / actress Sara J. Stockbridge (and author of Hammer) and Molly Parkin (painter/"gaudy bohemian"), and it starts at 8pm sharp. Come on down and help us shin stroke and giner click our man to bloody victory!
