WHAT WE’VE DONE
INFO:
The band’s second single. The cover is an homage to Peter Saville’s Love Will Tear Us Apart cover, finished with a spot fluro yellow and housed in a double case, bearing the hidden message ’...and so he goes. RIP Tony Wilson’ (the iconic Factory Records boss and a former friend of Mercy who had inspired this approach, and who died while we were signing off the artwork). Also inspired by Joy Division’s releases, every vinyl was etched in the runout with a personal message from the band on each side.
TESTIMONIAL:
“Mercy approach each piece of artwork with gallons of enthusiasm and originality. However, their talents reach beyond design flair. Their responsibility to the client’s timeline and budget is always honoured, ensuring the design process is enjoyable whilst the results are magic and on brief.
