WHO WE DO IT WITH

MERCY SAYS:

Lizzie Nunnery hasn't been involved in half the number of Mercy productions that we'd like her to, but we still love her.

She's a busy lady - an able playwright, musician, poet, and producer of her own shows with Almanac, all of which she does with her own unique style, mixing a traditional awareness with a contemporary and highly evolved technique.

Lizzie has contributed to some great Mercy moments over the years though - including presenting the second performance of her play for voices, Death on Upper Duke Street at the Funeral WIYRT, hosting an excellent performance of her music at Revolutions in Form, and a typically lyrical contribution to our audioguide.

Lizzie also helps out with her brain from time to time, giving guidance at our creative committee meetings. Hopefully we'll tie her down for some more live work over the next few years!

LIZZIE NUNNERY SAYS:

Mercy are some of the boldest artistic curators about - always working to innovate and play in unexpected ways. Singing in the "super choir" at the final 'Wave if You're Really There' live event alongside members of Tunng and Wave Machines was a moment not to be forgotten (by us or the audience). Through years of ambitious work Mercy have connected up a huge pool of talent in Merseyside and beyond. Long may the ripples roll.
